WHAT DOES THE NAME GLOW AWAY SKIN STAND FOR?

The name Glow Away SKIN was coined from “Go Away” and “Glow”. Glow Away represents the dullness from the skin going away after continued use of our products. The term “Glow” represents the instant inner and outer glow that can be felt by our Glow Babes after continuously engaging in a self-care ritual using Glow Away SKIN products.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JADE, ROSE QUARTZ AND AMETHYST ROLLERS?

Jade – known as the stone of eternal youth its natural cooling properties work to balance.

Rose Quartz- known as the stone of love, it promotes self-love, reflection, and acceptance and is known to soothe.

Amethyst- works best to relieve stress as it cleanses negative energies ad promotes clarity and relaxation.

WHEN SHOULD THE GUA SHA BE USED VERSUS THE FACIAL ROLLER?

Gua Sha is suggested for lymphatic drainage, relieving facial and jaw tension, and lifting and contouring the skin.

Best use of the facial roller is for reducing puffiness, applying products such as serums and oils, as well as to soothe the skin.

Around for centuries and used in Ancient Chinese medicine and beauty, it is a skincare tool that massages the face and provides cooling and soothing effect on the skin.

HOW SHOULD THE ROLLER AND GUA SHA BE CLEANED AND STORED?

After each use, wash your rose quartz roller and gua sha with warm water and gentle soap. Dry the tools with a soft microfibre cloth and make sure they are fully dry before storing. We recommend storing the tools in the Glow Away SKIN De-puffing and Sculpting set box for safe storage.

Exfoliating gloves can be found anywhere, however the material they are made of can be harsh and abrasive to the skin. Quality matters, that’s why our Glow Away SKIN Exfoliating Mitt is crafted from 100% pure Turkish silk. Silk is the epitome of luxury, delicate yet powerful, the tight weaved threads will work its magic to remove impurities and dead skin cells without irritating the skin leaving our Glow Babes with a glowing rejuvenated look.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I EXFOLIATE?

Exfoliating is important Glow Babes! Dermatologists recommend exfoliating once to twice a week depending on your skin type. For sensitive skin babes we recommend once a week.

Just a reminder babe, don’t be too harsh! Apply gentle pressure as needed to avoid irritation and redness.

Do not use on sunburnt skin, open scars, active acne or on skin allergies.

WHAT SKIN TYPE CAN THE DEEP EXFOLIATING SILK MITT BE USED ON?

All Glow Babes welcomed here! Our silk mitts are designed to be used on all skin types.

CAN I USE MY BODY MITT ON MY FACE?

We do not recommend using the body mitt on your face as it is unhygienic. Also the weaving of the Glow Away SKIN Body Mitt is designed to be used on the body only. We offer an exfoliating mitt for the Face only, which is more gentle on the skin and can be found here.

HOW SHOULD MY MITT BE STORED?

Hand wash thoroughly in hot water and natural soap after each use and hang to dry. Do not machine wash!

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I REPLACE MY MITT?

For best hygiene and to avoid bacteria build up it is recommended to replace the mitt every 8-12 weeks depending on frequency of use.

WHERE DOES GLOW AWAY SKIN PRODUCTS SHIP?

Glow Away SKIN currently ships its products within Canada, the United States and rest of the world.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

Once your order is placed, it will be shipped within 2-3 business days. You will receive a shipment notification as soon as your package ships.

CHANGES IN ADDRESS

Please email us as soon as possible at info@shopglowawayskin.comwith your details and address to be delivered to if you have made in error in the address. We will try our best to change your address however, changes in address are not guaranteed if your order has already been shipped.

Note if the address cannot be changed, re-deliveries of returned orders due to incomplete or incorrect address or uncollected parcels are the onus of the customer. Additional shipping costs to have your order re-shipped to the correct shipping address are the responsibility of the customer.
